    In the entertainment venue: There is an old Walt Disney show on video which features a Kuvasz in the starring role. It is called the 101 Problems of Hercules and is the second feature on the video tape Run Appaloosa Run. You may find it at Kmart or Toys R Us. In another video called Brady's Escape Kuvasz are shown for a few minutes. For better or worse a Kuvasz also appears in the sequel to the Homeward Bound movie. The cameo has doubtful benefits, since people may get an erroneous impression of the breed based on the dog's part in the film.

    Actually you never know where a Kuvasz will appear. There are even PHILATELIC KUVASZ

    There are numerous canine mailing lists to be found online. The following forums have members who are interested in guardian breeds in general, and many are attracted to Kuvasz in particular.

    Unfortunately many of the so called list owners and their friends have chosen to restrict what is posted to these forums. Although list owners really only own lists figuratively, and usually don't pay for the services which some companies provide free of charge to benefit dogs and their owners, many have turned the lists into the same kind of exclusive environments as purebred dog clubs.
 
    The Livestock Guardian Dog list offers mail from owners, breeders, trainers, and medical professionals. However your mail will be censored for an indeterminate amount of time.
    The list traffic fluctuates, and sadly so does the value of the information.

    When you are a member of LGD-L you can search the list archives as far back as a year for subject matter which interests you.

    The Flock and Family Guardian Network is reported to have a very large subscriber membership with information on a wide assortment of livestock protection dogs. However the list traffic is extremely light and often there is no mail whatsoever.

    The lack of participation, except when list owner Stacey Kubyn sends the occasional Internet news item herself, may be explained by the fact Kubyn must approve each and every piece of mail you submit.
